This latest video allowed me to open up and express how the "FORCE" really works for me. Where some may view being particular about one's appearance as being vain with a negative connotation, I think of it as positive reinFORCEment to my overall health - both physical and mental. Let's think about it. We all want beautiful skin, great hair, and bright eyes, right? Well that starts from the inside out. So, if it is really that important to us, we will eat healty foods and steer clear of the bad ones. We will get the appropriate amount of rest and so forth. If we had our way, most of us would rather have a hot body than not. That requires keeping up the tone, flexibilty, and strength of the body. Yes, that takes tons of discipline, but the payoff is huge! Every bit of time taken in these endeavors, is like a personal therapy session where you are doing good for your body and spirit. You may be thinking about the ultimate goal of looking great at your reunion or wedding day - or hopefully everyday, but along the way you are doing exactly what you should be doing to stay healthy. When you are healthy you feel good about yourself and can accomplish so much more. So, like I say in my video, my vanity serves my sanity.
Let's give a big shout out to CHLOE in honor of 60 years helping women to feel beautiful. I recently had the privilage to attend Chloe's 60th Anniversary party in its boutique in South Coast Plaza. In honor of this history, Chloe is releasing a capsule collection of some of its most iconic pieces. Founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion and Jacques Lenoir, the label has seen many famous designers, including Karl Lagerfeld, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon, and Stella McCartney creating memorable collections.
I am delighted to say I recently welcomed this "Violin" dress designed by Karl Lagerfield for Chloe in 1983 into my closet. Fashion Orgasm!
You can purchase pieces from the anniversary Heritage collection in stores or online exclusively at net-à-porter.
I am excited to reveal my latest fashion video. I had the privelege to work with the very talented Fernandez brothers Phil and Ed and make up artist Irene Mar. The inspiration for this shoot was both color and shape. The photos are coming soon . . .
Watching this Burberry Prosrum Year in Review video was like watching a trailer to a movie that I know I must see. I love it from start to finish. Thank you Trevor Undi.
